Ridgeline – Private Residence

Private Residence – Northern Vermont

Hidden within the hills of Northern Vermont, this private residence looked to create an open floor plan that minimized the structure as much as possible. While the residence is “simple” in shape, the structure is anything but. The roof is supported by long, clear span hips and valleys that land on narrow steel-tube columns to minimize the mullion space between the wall of windows. The entry courtyard is partially covered with a large opening, inviting views from the rooftop terrace above.
